A Senior Motion Graphics Artist should be skilled, motivated, have creative vision and a technical understanding of Adobe AfterEffects, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
Candidates must have extensive experience working across 2D and 3D projects.
Strong communication and team playing skills are a must, along with experience working on high-end advertising and VFX projects.
Candidates must have extensive and recent experience working with clients-primarily Directors and Agency Creatives/Producers from initial meetings through to final delivery.
Candidates may be required to attend shoots both here in the UK and abroad and supervise animation requirements on set.
He/she must be able to break-down and quote on complex animation projects and confident to suggest other routes for the creative to work within the client’s budget.
Extensive experience using the Adobe suite (After Effects, Photoshop Illustrator) to produce static and motion graphics
Ability to use Cinema 4D is of great appeal
Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for visually arresting graphics - from gifs to full graphics-led videos, as well as elements for TV output
Ability to conceptualise, visualise, design and animate design solutions to a high standard against tight deadlines
Exceptional skills in Design, Motion Graphics and Compositing
Excellent typographical and layout skills with an eye for composition, colour and fonts
Ability to produce polished and appropriate design solutions for 2D and 3D projects
A creative opportunist up for trying new ideas and thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
Managing and mentoring junior artists within the team
Working alongside the production team and making amends where needed
Strong aesthetic sensibility, good use of colour
Familiar with typical pipeline issues in a post-production environment
Confident in the visual exploration of abstract concepts
Strong communication skills are critical. Must be able to work within a team, taking direction and exercising attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
