Overview of Role
A Junior VFX
producer should be organised, motivated and be eager to gain more experience.
He/She
must be on hand to offer administrative support to company directors,
producers and schedulers alike. The chosen
candidate will be required to track hours, raise POs and generally assist the
team with day to day ad-hoc administrative duties. A basic level
of post-production knowledge is required. Good
communication and team playing skills are a must. Some experience
budgeting, organising and running advertising VFX projects is desirable. Industry-wide experience working with clients including production
companies and agencies is a must. Willingness to learn and not being afraid to ask questions
when required is a must. |
Key Competencies
1.
Minimum of 1
year’s experience working in the advertising or VFX industry. 2.
Comfortable
working independently and as part of a team. 3.
Comfortable
working directly with clients. 4.
Strong interest
in filmmaking and VFX techniques and technologies. 5.
Strong
communication skills. 6.
Strong
organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. 7.
Ability to
multitask. 8.
Comfortable
working in a high pressured and evolving environment. 9.
Some experience
working on short form VFX projects, drafting quotes, budgets, scheduling,
tracking hours, reconciling and invoicing jobs on completion. 10. Good knowledge of Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Excel.
