Every year, pneumonia kills more than 800,000 children around the world—all under the age of five! That’s more than any other disease. Unfortunately, pneumonia is under-diagnosed and subsequently, under-treated as it often presents itself as a common cold or exhaustion. Pfizer is committed to helping alleviate the sufferings of children everywhere by helping to educate people about risks of pneumonia and how to protect their families. So, we created a fun, informative animated film featuring a sneaky, shape-shifting character named Moni. The film is designed to appeal to parents and children alike, helping moms and dads identify signs of pneumonia and arming them with information necessary to take control of the situation.

The film was launched in Indonesia as part of a broader pneumonia awareness campaign. In the coming weeks, translated versions of this effort will be introduced to families across the globe, helping to reduce the devastation caused by pneumonia.
