INSIGHT

Every 3 hours in Italy, a person receives a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis,

a neurodegenerative disease that can chronically and progressive compromise

the ability to move. Still, life doesn’t stop with a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.

IDEA

The SMeakers collection is born. The first sneakers collection signed by three

Multiple Sclerosis patients. Cristina, Federico and Rachele told us their own story,

that calligraphist Chiara Riva copied on three pairs of shoes, covering every inch

of free skin. Outside and inside. First exhibited at the Milan Fashion week last

September 2021, The SMeakers showed us all that movement is more than just

an accessory. They carry a great message of strength and love for life to millions

of people.
