The lyrics of the song tie in with the theme of the ad which shows the extremes of consumerism today. The song lists “a few of my favorite things” while the visuals show relentless purchasing. This is contrasted by the smooth ride in the car. The dark, brooding tone of the cover version helps push the message of the advert that by not owning things we are not owned by things. The production and directing is that of a cinematic quality, with award winning director, Johnny Green working on the ad. We licenced this with the help of Cosmos Music, and it has been further licenced to a worldwide deal. We are extremely proud of this piece of work, and think the re-recording of 'My Favorite Things' is truly unique and beautiful.
