About
As a Senior Insight Analyst at Armadillo, you will be an expert on campaign reporting and analysis, tasked with growing the capability of the team to keep pace with the agencies and clients accelerating thirst for insights and recommendations. You will collaborate with our Client Services & Strategy teams, defining how campaigns are created and tested, which KPIs are reported and the responsibility of implementing the framework of how this is fed back to key stakeholders.
Senior Insight Analyst Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise at manipulating data from fast-moving datasets to prepare for analytical projects; support other members of the analytics team as required to execute the right approach in their projects
- Demonstrate expertise knowledge of working in complex data environments, including those of our clients; support other members of the analytics team as required to ensure they have the necessary understanding required for their projects
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of analytical approaches and methodologies, and the ability to translate the complex into simplified explanations
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and document complex analytical project scopes, milestones and deliverables without input from senior colleagues; support the scoping and documentation of outputs of other team members as required to help them achieve the highest standards in their scopes
- Apply the process for managing, and carrying out, QA and peer review of your analytical projects to the highest standards
- Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of data science and modelling techniques, including AI Regression, Time Series, Clustering, etc.
- Execute the creation of targetable audiences for campaigns upo to the most complex level without support; ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency in coding, creation and output to other teams for your projects
- Support the HOA and HD&S as required in the development of measurement strategies for CRM programmes, campaigns and journeys up to and including the most complex level, demonstrating excellent knowledge of approaches to defining and measuring value and impact
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of testing methodologies for campaigns, programmes and customer journeys of all levels of complexity that enable insight, measurement and ROI; implement these rigorously in analysis projects with minimal input
- Execute programme - and campaign - or journey-level analysis projects that meet and exceed the requirements of the measurement strategy or brief, including coding in to, and scheduling reports on, data reporting tools and platforms with efficiency and accuracy
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase efficiency using automation; collaboratively work with data engineers and developers to support the automation of processes, ongoing reports etc.
- Lead the planning and execution of assigned exploratory, deep-dive and/or customer segmentation projects to deliver on the strategic objectives of our clients
Requirements
- Ability to think laterally about data & analytics and it's capability to answer strategic questions
- Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the latest trends, technology and techniques in data science and analytics (CRM knowledge is advantageous)
- Ability to develop strong relationships with senior client stakeholders at all levels up to and including senior CRM managers, in presenting, developing and reviewing strategy work
- Confident using analytics to tell stories with data in a leading capacity with minimal support
- Demonstrable superb presentation skills, with the ability to engage equally well with a client's marketing teams - confident being the voice of analytics in the room, including written presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of data visualisation tools including Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI
- Excellent knowledge of SQL/MySQL
- Intermediate knowledge/experience using R/Python
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft programs (Word, PPT & Excel) and the Google Drive equivalents
