Full Punch is looking for an Account Director to join our growing team in Vancouver. On behalf of your clients, you’ll manage the day-to-day team through creating, iterating, and executing creative campaigns, brand identities and more. You’ll foster a healthy team environment for creative work while adding the right balance of structure and process to help the team operate effectively.
We are looking for a senior partner to work closely with our senior clients to help bring stratic ideas to life through creativity while managing complex multimedia production processes. The Account Director is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for key existing client relationships, as well as supporting new business development, pitches, and upholding the values and quality standards of Full Punch.
What you’ll do:
Manage and develop senior level relationships with both existing and new clients
Lead the creative, strategy, and other cross-functional agency teams in delivering holistic marketing plans.
Be an active contributor to a positive, innovative, collaborative, and respectful work environment.
Collaborate with the client to understand their business and marketing opportunities to support their needs and those of the Agency.
Develop business growth by identifying organic new business development and support external business development.
You’ll lead and execute the management of projects throughout the entire lifecycle and exceed client expectations with attention to detail and flawless execution.
Manage the profitability of your accounts and projects
Managing up as necessary to your direct report to keep teammates informed of the health of the projects.
Delegate and oversee jr members of your team where and when applicable.
Communicates client opportunities and issues to your direct report on a regular basis.
Be action and solution-oriented.
Ensure all communications reflect Full Punch standards.
What you’ll bring:
6+ years experience in marketing or advertising.
Experience with direct client communications related to projects you are leading.
Experience leading internal and external meetings, in person and remotely.
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to use Google Workspace Apps, Slack and project management software with ease. You love a good Gantt chart.
Must have solid knowledge of print, digital, and broadcast production processes.
Fiscal responsibility by managing the day-to-day finances, budget tracking, and billing on your accounts and projects
Ability to look ahead and see the bigger picture on your project/brand
A passion for continuing to grow your craft
Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
