Job Description

Our London office is on the lookout for a Producer who will be responsible for running music productions from start to finish. Whether it’s producing a world-class sonic brand, sound for an advertising campaign, broadcast branding package or musical activation, you will turn ideas into musical realities.

You will be part of the Production department, reporting to the Music Production Director. Your immediate team will vary from project to project and will include Producers, Account Managers and Creative Strategists – both in London and other offices worldwide.

Depending on the project, you will receive briefs or you will design the brief yourself. You will source the right talent (composers, sound designers, musicians and vocalists) and brief them to produce original music and sound design. Conversely, projects that require commercial music or talent will see you collaborate with rights holders or artist management to source and licence existing commercial music or commercial talent.

You’re a supernova of energy, passion and enthusiasm for music and life in general. You are obsessed with understanding the needs and possibilities of a project and have enviable organisation skills that allow you to command multiple projects concurrently. Perhaps you’re bionic but we don’t need to know. You will be as adept with a creative vision as you are with handling the project management, financial, contractual and legal side.

You have a solid set of personal industry contacts and will nurture and build that network with MassiveMusic to attract creative and business opportunities. You get a buzz off the industry and - when the world allows - you will be keen to attend Massive events and other industry-related events and get-togethers. You will also actively discover and nurture talent.

People enjoy working with you because you bring fresh ideas to the table and always have a proactive solution to any challenge. You are also fun to have around, which is great because all work and no play isn’t our thang. Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in advertising, branding, production or music related companies (producer or project management role)

• You are comfortable navigating and working within a DAW (Logic, Ableton, etc.) to edit and prepare audio for client deliveries

• Music production and video editing skills? That’s your daily bread

• You have some knowledge of the sonic branding process and its applications

• You have a good understanding of how the advertising industry works

• You have the proven ability to maintain and develop client relationships

• You’re a – excusez le cliché - team player who can work independently

• You’re outgoing and have good communication skills

• You don’t mind being challenged by your teams and clients

• You’re a dab hand at translating client ideas into musical terms

• Naturally, you have music in your veins
