IDEA:
A film with two acts:
Part One: The unremarkable everyday scenario Kuwaitis are used to.
A young Kuwaiti guy enters Burger King, makes his order, and he is asked if he’d like to pay with Crowns from the Loyalty Program. He’s very sceptical and decides not to accept it.
Part Two: The remarkable experience epitomising a remarkable, yet simple, loyalty program.
Burger King presents "If I were you", a karaoke song, where members of the Burger King team, including the cashier, cook and even the manager, transform into the young sceptical consumer, taking him through a fantastical journey where they explain the simplicity and benefits of the Loyalty program.
“If I were you, I'd get free food”. A simple and catchy phrase that is repeated throughout the film, and which finally ends with the customer fully convinced to pay with Crowns. Remarkable!
MUSIC:
The music was carefully crafted to meet three objectives:
Educate: We needed to educate and overcome the loyalty scepticism. By delivering the Loyalty Program’s ease of use, benefits and rewards within catchy and repetitive lyrics, we guaranteed the message would be heard and repeated. The lyrics were also written in English and Arabic.
Entertain: Tap into nostalgia! The song's base follows a tuning structure that aligns with the 90’s pop genre and is on trend catching The Stranger Things wave and making it instantly popular.
Excite: We needed to deliver it in a culturally relevant way the target audience would accept.
