Performance vehicles are usually associated with loud, revving engines. To car enthusiasts, power equals noise. But not in the case of the Kia EV6 GT. It can keep up with some of the fastest cars in the world, but its all-electric, 576 HP engine is powerfully silent. With deaf race-car driver Kris Martin behind the wheel, we wanted to show that it’s actually the quiet ones you should be watching out for. Because just like the Kia EV6 GT, you don’t need a bunch of noise to make a loud statement.  

The “Silence is Powerful” campaign made a loud statement when it comes to impact. It received 350.7 million impressions, 5.1 million views on TikTok, and had 5,188 people on the waiting list to purchase a Kia EV6. While deaf people are often misrepresented in the media, we helped the deaf community be heard through story and the power of silence.
