INTRO
International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March. A very important date on which thousands of people take to the streets to vindicate women's rights and their struggle to build a more equal society between men and women.
Many brands take advantage of this milestone in the calendar to do their bit and show their support for women, although most tend to simply change the colour of their logos to purple, the international colour of feminism and, incidentally, Renfe’s trademark colour.
IDEA
On 8 March, Renfe steps out with a different campaign.
While many brands are colouring their logos purple, Renfe on the other hand makes it disappear from its trademark. In this simple but impactful and eye-catching way, Renfe stakes its claim that there is still a long way to go, as a company and as a society, towards reaching true gender equality.
