​The challenge was to write music that would underline the universal emotions people going through when they’re watching the world cup.
The excitement, the joy and the pain.

It was important that the music itself would feel grounded and have something universally relatable. The world cup has something tribal
but still brings all different kinds of people and cultures together. The music had to give that same feeling.

We did this by recording different kinds of acoustic instruments and blending them with modern production style. We recorded anything
from guitars, to middle eastern frame drums to a vintage drummachine.

When we brought this all together it resulted in a modern yet folky score that perfectly incapsulates the spirit of what the worldcup is all
about.​
