We were met with the challenge of hooking social audiences for a show that takes a whole new twist on the journey through alternative realities. To introduce The Roku Channel’s newest original series Slip, a show about a woman who travels through dimensions through the power of orgasm, we brought audiences deeper into the wormhole.

With the premise in mind, our creative was focused on leaning in to the multi-dimensional aspect of the series, using dynamic motion and abstract framing to our visuals. Our visual storytelling highlighted Mae’s journey with a color palette that ranges from neutral earth tones to vibrant moments of color. We slipped seamlessly between moments of self discovery and empowerment, accentuated by our main character Mae’s personality, style and humor. We paired this direction with moments that showed Mae’s wildest moments as she travels through dimensions and her unabashed self-discovery to drive intrigue into the series from our pre-existing Roku fans, and emphasize the reliability of Mae’s experiences for curious onlookers.
