​Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet… We all know these words as the universal placeholder text in design and advertising, but it was also the starting point for the first-ever song made just for creatives.
​As the only common language used by creatives around the world, Circonflex, a commercial music agency with studios in Toronto, Montreal and Paris, used Lorem Ipsum as lyrics for their original track, “Lorem Ipsong”, a new banger to connect the international creative community and show off Circonflex’s musical chops. To make it even more memorable, they teamed up with creative agency LG2 to create a video that animates the Lorem ipsum text, with 13 illustrated styles and 42 animated transitions, bringing new life to the once-meaningless lyrics.

​“Lorem Ipsong” is an original new banger in the style of Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars, with vocals by Julien Charbonneau (from The Voice Québec, Star Académie) that uses Lorem ipsum as the lyrics to connect the international creative community. Music really is a universal language.
​Mastered at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios, “Lorem Ipsong” is officially out on streaming platforms everywhere now.

​The project was meant to position Circonflex as an international player in commercial music creation. The stunt resulted in millions of views on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram, with hundreds of medias sharing it all over the world. Now every creative worldwide knows, if Circonflex can make lorem ipsum sound amazing, they can do anything.​
