Manchester United marked its April '19 West Ham United game as its annual #allredallequal fixture, with a number of displays being put in place around the stadium as the club reaffirms its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
This included a social film as its centrepiece spearheading the launch of the first match dedicated to #allredallequal, featuring first team players reacting to social media hate comments, including Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard from the men’s team and Emily Ramsey and Martha Harris from the women’s team.
Global media picked up on the film running stories about the #allredallequal campaign with quotes from players featured and their reactions; whilst fans responded in huge numbers posting supportive comments and getting behind the campaign across social media.
