Counselling was created for Minding Creative Minds - the new mental health initiative provided by Screen Ireland, the national development agency for the Irish Film Industry. MCM provides free, unbiased support to those struggling in the film industry.

The story is a nerve-wracking crescendo presented through the use of storyboards. We follow the journey of Jill, a prosthetics designer, as she grapples with the overwhelming stress of meeting deadlines on set.

By crafting a score that gradually intensified alongside Jill's mounting stress, I aimed to create a sense of discomfort and unease that would resonate with viewers. However, as Jill reached her breaking point, the score evolves to offer a message of resilience, signalling that help was available when she needed it most.
