To highlight environmental responsibility in Acciona's ad campaign, MassiveMusic reimagined the Tears for Fears classic, Mad World.
The submission here is for the teaser film, which gained a combined 3 million views on Youtube. Shortly after the teaser's release, the main film went live with another cover version of Mad World, also produced by MassiveMusic. The song has been reimagined before, most notably by Gary Jules for the cult movie Donnie Darko. The cover is a dramatic departure from the original version of the song, whilst maintaining the essence of its powerful lyrics. MassiveMusic worked alongside creative agency McCann Madrid, and production company Tesauro in developing this advert, which aired across television networks in Spain, Chile, Mexico and Australia and is distributed globally across digital platforms.
