When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, social distancing quickly became commonplace. In most public spaces hazard warning cordons, gaffer tape and info graphics appeared, forming an ugly reminder of the new restrictions we lived by. But as lockdown eased, Stella Artois saw an opportunity to support the reopening of local bars and restaurants, by reimagining social distancing in a whole new way.
More than your typical street art, this 46ft x 92ft painted mural was a safe-socialising space allowing friends and loved ones to come together and share a drink once again in a beautiful way. Through clever design and a sixties op art-inspired style, we transformed a functional message into an inviting work of art for all to enjoy.
