1 in 5 Australians suffer from mental health issues at work. Although the presence of physical danger can be quite evident, mental harm can not only be hard to identify but culturally it is often ignored, and worse, accepted.
With workplace bullying on the rise, and a reluctance for victims to speak out, we needed a way to emotionally connect with Australians and change a toxic workplace culture to an empathetic one.
Workplace Reflections, an installation of 64 mirrors, 16 rotating plinths, each programmed to broadcast a different story from real bullying victims, connected with employers and employees and started a conversation and behaviour change.
