Creativity. You can find it everywhere and in everyone. But to unleash it, you need space. A space to create, collaborate, and grow. The problem is, that in the UK, spaces in communities are shrinking day by day. London alone, has lost nearly half its youth clubs since 2011.
This alarming trend led Levi’s® - a brand with a well renowned heritage in music - to make a stand with the Levi’s® Music Project, which provides young people with the spaces and mentorship to realise their full creative potential.
This year, a permanent music space was created in Anfield, Liverpool for the local community. And under the mentorship of Brit-nominated UK rapper, Loyle Carner, 13 young people from the community were given the opportunity to open for Loyle Carner’s headline slot at Sound City Festival. Our documentary follows these 13 young people as they prepare for the biggest stage of their lives.
