Mother Design has unveiled a campaign for Punchdrunk Enrichment, a charity bringing the transformative power of immersive theatre to schools, families and communities. The campaign, created in support of the Big Give Christmas Challenge, highlights how donations can spark creativity and unlock imaginations.
Running from now until 10th December, the Big Give Christmas Challenge doubles every donation made during this week-long initiative, with funds going towards Punchdrunk Enrichment’s first major schools project in Brent, where 33% of families live on low incomes and many schools lack funding for the creative arts.
Punchdrunk Enrichment is on a mission to use its creative approach to grow imaginations and inspire a love of learning. They want to transform the school experience for pupils, boosting oracy and literacy in the process. This project will bring their immersive learning techniques into classrooms, culminating in a performance at their unique venue in Wembley Park, Punchdrunk Enrichment Stores.
Mother Design’s campaign, titled 'Give a Big Imagination,' focuses on the incredible impact that donors can have.
The campaign centres around the power of donations to inspire creativity and transform lives, with messaging that encourages supporters to make make-believe happen, because play is a serious business, and to be the spark for their imagination.
The visual concept is rooted in the idea of collaboration between adults and children. Bold, paper-cut typography leaps from exercise book backgrounds, representing children’s creativity, while smaller pebble-shaped elements symbolise subtle guidance from grown-ups. Real photography from previous Punchdrunk Enrichment workshops further brings the campaign to life, showing children engaged, inspired, and empowered by the charity’s work.
Jo Tulej, creative director at Mother Design, said, "We were honoured to collaborate with Punchdrunk Enrichment on this important initiative. Their work in schools combines creativity and learning in ways that leave a lasting impact on children and teachers alike. This campaign was all about showing how a simple donation can ignite the imaginations of children who need it most."
JoJo Tyhurst, head of communications at Punchdrunk Enrichment, added, "At Punchdrunk Enrichment, we believe creativity should be at the heart of every child’s education. This project is about bringing magic and possibility to classrooms that need it most, and with the support of Mother Design and the Big Give Christmas Challenge, we hope to inspire donors to help us make this vision a reality."
The campaign is now live on Punchdrunk Enrichment’s social channels and donation platforms.
