The One X One program from Slow Factory brings together fashion designers and scientists to create sustainable innovations, debunking the idea that naturally grown, ethically produced materials and products are out of fashion’s reach.
The first cohort of the program was comprised of three teams, where a scientist and a designer were paired together to foster cross-disciplinary innovation. A year later, they were ready to share the findings of the program with the world.
Made in partnership with Swarovski and The United Nation Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Christelle De Castro's enlightening new film documents the program’s successful pilot year.
