The Challenge 

Making it rain with Innis & Gunn - Launch its new ‘AdventureCapital™’ crowdfunding scheme with an impactful stunt that would bring the brand’s experimental origins to life. 

The Manifest Approach 

We created Sky.P.A -  the world’s first beer made from water harvested from Scottish clouds, driving national conversation and over £2.5m in investment from beer fans.

Driving Investment through Innovation 

Innis & Gunn briefed Manifest to launch its new ‘AdventureCapital™’ crowdfunding scheme to support its growth and to open a new beer kitchen centred around innovation. 

To bring to life the brand’s heritage of experimentation, we created Sky.PA - a new brew made exclusively from water harvested from Scottish clouds. This positioned Innis & Gunn as an innovative and exciting brand that investors and beer fans would want to be a part of. 

We commissioned a unique weather kite to collect the water and the team set to work creating the fresh new brew. 

Ahead of announcing to business, lifestyle and trade press, we hosted an investor and media event where people could into speak directly to founder Dougal Sharp about the raise and campaign.

The raise drove a total of £2.5m in the 30 day raise period, smashing its £1million target in the first 72 hours.
