Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel guidance platform, has teamed up with tech-powered production company Untold Fable to launch a new film series that shows how their business tools are empowering local companies around the world to grow.
The series, which includes YouTube video case studies and accompanying social media content, showcases how local businesses in different cities all over the globe are successfully using Tripadvisor for Business solutions to increase their visibility, attract new customers and increase their brand presence online.
The latest episode, 'Tripadvisor Case Study: London – Niche Restaurant', centres on Marc Warde’s acclaimed gluten-free restaurant Niche, in London. Known for its bold, allergy-safe dishes, Niche has become a go-to spot for locals and visitors seeking inclusive dining experiences.
Directed by London-based filmmaker Jessie Ayles, the hero film – now live on Tripadvisor’s YouTube channel – follows Marc and his team as they share how Tripadvisor’s tools have helped amplify their brand and stand out in a competitive market.
The one-day shoot features an in-depth interview with Marc, vibrant footage of the restaurant during peak service, and cinematic shots of the surrounding area, capturing the energy and character of Niche’s local neighbourhood.
Another episode in the series features Hotel Golden, a family-run gem based in the heart of Rome. In a visually rich episode titled 'Hotel Golden', viewers are taken on a journey through the hotel’s legacy in design and hospitality.
An interview with owner Giuseppe Loria highlights how tools like Business Advantage and Sponsored Placements have helped the hotel connect with global travelers while staying true to its heritage.
Untold Fable CEO Kate Tancred said, “It was a pleasure to collaborate with Tripadvisor and our global network of local filmmakers to bring these inspiring business stories to life. For example, to tell Niche’s story, we took a nimble, low-impact approach to filming, working around a busy evening service to capture the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere without disruption.
“Working with teams who have deep, on-the-ground knowledge of their cities meant we could capture each location authentically and tell stories that feel both personal and powerful.”
The final episode in the series will be in New York. To find out more about Untold Fable and its global network of over 6,000 filmmakers, click here.
