Director Zac Dov Wiesel is back, bringing his signature style to Megan Thee Stallion’s weird, wacky and wonderful new video ‘Whenever’.
What starts with a low rider crashing into a waiting room, spirals into a surreal fever dream - think pool cue barre dancing, chess piece riding, scuba diving, clocks melting, and of course, fish people.
An Australian-born director based in LA, Zac first caught attention with work for Rodney Chrome, earning a 1.4 Gold Award and a Young Director Award. In 2024, his video for Audrey Nuna’s ‘Cellulite’ picked up a CICLOPE Bronze and multiple UKMVA nominations, including Best New Director. Since, he has collaborated further with Audrey Nuna, with the dream-like ‘Baby OG’ and futuristic ‘Mine’ as well as directing Confidence Man’s jaw-dropping nude helicopter ride promo for ‘I Can’t Lose You’.
Repped by Pulse, Zac continues to redefine the boundaries of music video - and ‘Whenever’ might be his most ambitious vision yet.
