Mama Hungara Dazzles Once More with Virtuoso Pianist Daniil Trifonov

Mama Hungara is known for its talent and for putting together top quality teams for the production of commercials and feature films. This year they set out to offer something different. They began to provide unique experiences of great cultural value by producing extraordinary concerts at the Teatro Colón with top international talents. ‘As a nurturing exercise, culture as much as the arts have a profound effect on us. This fact gives us more strength to continue producing experiences that transform us, that fill our souls’.

This new event comes three months after the great success of its first Cultural Edition with the South Korean soprano Hera Hyesang Park, who conquered the Teatro Colón with her great talent and charisma. Last 15th July, Mama Hungara once again delighted us with a piano concert by the virtuoso Daniil Trifonov, acclaimed by critics as the most outstanding artist of his generation. As published in the newspaper La Nación, ‘There was art, amazement, magic and a strong feeling of being present at a unique and unrepeatable event’. On this occasion, the visionary Elisa Wagner ICP collaborated with Mamá Húngara. Wagner has been the Latin American representative of great artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, José Carreras, Jonas Kaufmann and Jessye Norman, among many others.

Prior to the concert, Mama Hungara hosted a Copa de Bienvenida (Welcome Drink) in the Salón Blanco (White Room), where prominent personalities from culture, music, fashion and the world of communication gathered. “Providing 360° experiences throughout the entire production process is our hallmark,” said Lisandro Ramos, CEO of Mama Hungara and executive general manager of these types of events. “Together with the team, we are very happy with the way things are going and we hope that brands will join this proposal that shows great potential,” added Lisandro. 

Daniil performed to the Argentine audience a varied and demanding programme, ranging from baroque to post-romantic. ‘The concert given yesterday by Daniil Trifonov at the Colón should receive six stars’, wrote Pablo Kohan, journalist for La Nación. Laura Novoa wrote in the Clarín newspaper, ‘Trifonov forged his temperament in that tradition and achieved an ideal balance between prodigious precision and refined poetic musicality. In his very personal connection with the works and his level of appropriation, there is not a single note where the musician does not give himself body and soul’.
