Looking to recognise and support growth in the EMEA region, Little Black Book has announced the promotion of three of its staff members and a dedicated awards director for the region. Paul Cooper becomes managing director, EMEA, Alex Reeves becomes managing editor, EMEA, and Zhenya Tsenzharyk will step into the role of UK editor. Meanwhile, Paul Monan, co-director of the Immortal Awards, has also joined the EMEA team to dedicate Immortal Awards support for the region.

In 2023, LBB completely overhauled its structure, breaking down departmental barriers to create regional teams with mixed disciplines. The aim of this was to improve customer experience for all LBB members. These new promotions and additional support are recognition of this new business structure and an acknowledgement of the success that the new team has had in sustaining growth in the region. At present, approximately 150,000 users from the EMEA region visit LBB each month.

For the past year, Alex and Paul Cooper have been working closely together with head of account management Kitty Norris to foster growth, develop editorial coverage and ensure the region’s LBB members capitalise on the platform. During this time traffic, client-base and revenue have grown year on year.

Zhenya Tsenzharyk, who already works within the EMEA team, will take on a newly created role of UK editor. As LBB’s founding country, the platform has always had a large audience and base of customers from the UK. Zhenya’s new role is a commitment to giving businesses within the UK more time, attention and coverage. Alongside her, Olivia Atkins and Zoe Antonov cover all other key regions across Europe and MEA.

CEO & founder Matt Cooper says, “This is an incredible team of people who have been with LBB for over 30 collective years, Paul (Cooper) knows LBB inside out. Alex is a truly modern editor who I think has an incredible top-down view on the business. Paul Monan has been with The Immortal Awards from year dot and at LBB even longer. Together, these guys will just strengthen and grow what we are doing across Europe."

Editor-in-chief Laura Swinton adds, “EMEA is an incredibly rich and diverse region, geographically, culturally and linguistically and there’s no journalist in adland that has the breadth of knowledge that Alex Reeves has, so this promotion is so right. The beefed up editorial team reflects just how important it is for us to make sure the whole region is given the coverage it deserves. For the first time we’ve also got a dedicated UK editor, in the form of the brilliant Zhenya Tsenzharyk, who can make sure that we’re all over the ins and outs of the biggest ad market in Europe!”

LBB has also promoted from within in its Americas team. Addison Capper will become managing editor and Jake Otley will become managing director for the region. Emma Wilkie will dedicate regional support for the Immortal Awards. Read more about that here.
