Faye Butler Joins Marshall Street Editors as Producer

Marshall Street Editors welcomes the arrival of Faye Butler as producer to bolster the production team. Faye, who hails from sunny Blackpool, has produced a slate of short films in the past including ‘No Ball Games’ directed by Sam Brewster which featured in this year’s Straight8 Festival in Cannes. 

Faye will be working alongside head of production SJ O’Mara supporting the award-winning editors producing creative work for brands across the board. 

Faye said, "I first met Marshall Street Editors as a freelancer back in 2018 and then again last Christmas when I was looking for an editor to cut a short film I produced. MSE kindly agreed to cut the film and when I saw the job pop up I grabbed my chance! I’m delighted to be working here full time, it’s only been a couple of weeks and it already feels like home.” 

SJ O’Mara, head of production, MSE said, “I was so pleased when Faye interviewed for the role as I had admired her work ethic and determination during our previous encounters. From freelancer to client to employee is an interesting approach but it’s one that is bearing fruit already as Faye has wasted no time getting stuck in!”
