The agency won second place in the Sixth Annual Fast Company List of the 100 Best Companies for Innovators

Dentsu Creative Mexico, agency of the only creative network of the dentsu group, was ranked number two in the world in the Top 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, making it the Winner in the Advertising and Marketing category and both the best company for innovators in that industry.

In recent years, business and innovation magazine Fast Company has annually recognised 100 organisations and companies that demonstrate an inspiring commitment to fostering and developing innovation at all levels. In this sixth edition, it selected 100 winners from a variety of sectors, including entertainment, biotechnology, consumer goods, marketing, education and healthcare, among others. To earn this recognition, all winners (as well as dozens of additional finalists listed online) were evaluated on innovation related to projects, investment, company programmes and workplace culture. Fast Company conducted additional research and evaluation of each nominated company, from which an independent jury reviewed the top 125 companies to reach a consensus on the final winner.

Commenting on the announcement, Said Gil, CEO of Dentsu Creative Mexico said, “This result is a recognition of the work we have done since we launched the agency in 2022. Just two years later, Dentsu Creative is a major player in developing experiences to transform brands and businesses with the power of creativity and technology, and an open space for innovation and for innovators to understand, explore and create new solutions for today's connected world”.

He added that “it is a source of pride to reach second place in a global list of 100, and to highlight the fusion of our Japanese DNA of innovation with the Mexican culture that characterises us in addressing local issues. This is a reflection of the role that innovation is playing in the industry and what we, as an agency, are achieving by designing solutions for our clients that are relevant and culturally connected. We have the opportunity and responsibility to continue to build a unique company that integrates creativity, technology, data, media, entertainment and commerce, based on our clients' strategy, to become their most relevant partner and the most attractive place for the best talent.”

The announcement concurs with Dentsu Creative launching a new go-to-market positioning, Transformative Creativity. Designed to unlock exponential growth for brands, Transformative Creativity is a differentiating force that brings together the capabilities of the agency network to positively impact people, businesses and society. This comes after dentsu unveiled its new brand vision, Innovating to Impact, in May this year, positioning the Japanese giant as an integrated growth and transformation partner for businesses.

Fast Company's announcement comes amidst the agency's momentum in the market, having been recognised as one of the Top three creative agencies according to the Círculo Creativo de México by winning two Grand Prix out of the four awarded at Círculo de Oro 2024, in addition to successes at Cannes Lions 2023 and 2024, several London International Awards, and the first two Grand Clio Entertainment in the history of the industry in Mexico. Since its launch, the agency has had significant momentum in the market, with multiple client wins, as well as the addition to its leadership team of top talent and industry voices, such as Carlos Buenfil, chief strategy officer; Jonathan McVinish, chief creative officer; Ilse Romero, business VP; Carmen Moreno 'Capu', head of entertainment; all led by Said Gil, CEO of Dentsu Creative in Mexico.
