The idea originated from Corona's need to further reinforce its relationship with the sunset, a moment of the day perceived as an explicit invitation from nature to connect. We felt that the sunset was often portrayed as something exclusively for outdoor moments, limiting the possibilities to enjoy it since not everyone is outdoors at that time. However, we discovered a truth that was the starting point of this idea: the sunset can be enjoyed from the comfort of a window with a view of the sunset.
"We saw a creative opportunity in windows, especially in commercial spots where more people hang out. That's when we came up with 'Rent your Sunset,' a project turning windows into advertising spaces. It all clicked. We slap our brand on business windows, and they get our product for free. It's a win-win," shared Gonzalo Pazos and Angelo Gonzales, creative directors of Fahrenheit DDB Peru.
The process is simple: business owners with a sunset-view window can apply by showcasing it on a website. Corona will jazz up the chosen windows so all the customers know that Corona means Sunset.
