Canica Films Signs Director Michelle Cassis

Canica Films' new talent, Michelle Cassis, is a rising talent in the world of advertising. The young Chilean director graduated in filmmaking and cinematography from the New York Film Academy and has been working steadily ever since. 

She has directed commercials for brands worldwide such as Cornetto UK (Unilever), winning a Cannes Lion last year with the acclaimed campaign 'Cornetto's Commitment Rings' and several other awards at El Ojo de Iberoamérica in Buenos Aires and El Sol in Spain.

With these credentials it's no wonder that Canica Films has grown interest in Michelle and added her to their ever-growing roster of international directors. With her interest in fashion films and fiction, this talented director will bring an unseen, fresh and singular aesthetic to the innovative Canica style. 

Back in Santiago, Michelle is a director at Triciclo Films, one of the top production houses in Chile. And now her journey brings her to Lima, to continue to make great things.
