Dacia's 10th Anniversary in Morocco - by J. Walter Thompson Casablanca

In Morocco, Dacia democratized automotive and has become the most sold car brand in the kingdom. Nevertheless, Dacia owners are considered as "sub category owners", the ones that could only buy the less expensive car in the market.Little do they care; those folks are proud of their car, taking pictures of it and sharing them on the Internet. All for a simple reason: before having their Dacia, owning a brand new car was a dream to them.As Renault Maroc’s Advertisng Group Manager, Siham Abid, puts it: "Almost 200.000 Moroccans have trusted the brand, and on its tenth anniversary, Dacia has decided to celebrate this choice by paying a wonderful tribute to its clients and their traditions."The film portrays sequences that could have been taken from any of those clients’ lives: a young man’s first car, one’s engagement, a professional achievement… The film closes on a wink to tradition through its last scene showing a Tbourida celebration – an old but still very popular Moroccan folk equestrian show.
