Final Fantasy

This 1×60” commercial for the global launch of the Playstation game called upon a huge amount of resources, utilising XSi, Smoke 2013, After Effects, Mocha, Trapcode Particular and Optical Flares. Coffee&TV provided a full VFX service from pre-viz and shoot supervision to cgi and compositing. With a Smoke on set, greenscreen footage could be composited in front of the clients, literally moments after it had been shot. This was a true team effort with Phil supervising the CGI, taking control of lighting and camera angles, Steve and Truss working on the transitions as people morph into their in-game CG characters with Truss and Derek working on the compositing and environmental effects, including sky replacements, atmospheric smoke and lens flares, dust clouds and general cleanup to create a truly epic fantasy commercial.
