Amnesty International - Pens
Amnesty International in collaboration with its agency TBWA Paris are back. Directed by Onur Senturk and co-produced by Troublemakers.tv and the studio One More, Pens is a full CG film shot in motion capture (Mocaplab) that epitomises the potential of each signature in the defence of human rights. Highlighting that the voice of a single person can bring about the birth of a social movement, the film concludes with the words “your signature is more powerful than you think” and features the song Iron Sky by Paolo Nutini featuring Charlie Chaplin. Through powerful imagery, Amnesty International has encapsulated the essence of its primary objective – inspiring communities to defend their fundamental human rights.

In a few years, TROUBLEMAKERS’ artistic approach has convinced and given this production boutique financial stability conducive to a thriving advertising business but also investment in the development of new creative formats (Feature Films, Documentaries and TV series). Our alternative treatment translates into a desire for excellence that drives us to always want to surpass ourselves in the projects we produce and to tell beautiful stories that will give emotion.
James Hagger, founder of TROUBLEMAKERS, started his career as an assistant director with Vertigo Films in London (The Football Factory, It's all Gone Pete Tong, The Business, 16 years of Alcohol, The Count of Monté Cristo) He continued his career in France on international feature films (Mister Lonely, Renaissance) It was in 2008 that he founded TROUBLEMAKERS to produce advertising, feature films and documentaries. TM has been behind many award-winning and successful campaigns for Van Cleef & Arpels, Orange, Coca-Cola and Amnesty International. To develop the production company James surrounded himself with three other producers, Cécile Alvarez a documentary producer (BBC, Nova Prod), Felipe Bernard a commercials and music videos producer (HK CORP, Kissman Production) and Brice Passien a film and agency producer (Zorba, Dobro films). These four producers lead an innovative editorial line that responds and feed each other both artistically and financially.
The TROUBLEMAKERS Studio is equipped for live action shoots, 2D & 3D animation, compositing, SFX and colour grading.
