AMV BBDO teams with MediaMonks to turn wagging, running and jumping into a sweater collection for CESAR

Would You Wear a Christmas Sweater Designed by a Dog?

To get you into the festive spirit, today, the CESAR brand has launched their largest ever global campaign to get you #twinning with a matching sweater collection 'Designed by Dogs' for both canines and their owners to enjoy.

The global campaign, created by advertising agency AMV BBDO, features a range of matching sweater designs, allowing dogs and their owners to share the joy of the festive season together.

To create these customised sweaters, the CESAR brand partnered with MediaMonks and dog behavioural experts to create a 'Doggy Design Studio'. Dogs literally ran, jumped, barked and wagged their way through an agility course that helped them design every element of the sweater design, from their bark’s sound wave being stitched onto the sleeves to icons being picked by the wag of their tail.

The final designs were manufactured in both human and dog sizes, giving pet owners a chance to win a matching sweater set to share with their beloved furry friend.

“The CESAR brand gets you #twinning with this special campaign because it really allows our canine friends to be part of the holiday celebrations,” said Fabio Alings, global CESAR brand director. “There’s no better way to share the joy of true friendship with your dog than by taking part in this magical process together, giving pets and their parents something they can both enjoy wearing as well.”

This campaign will launch globally in seven countries, including the US, Russia, Italy, Spain, the Nordics and Japan. In addition to the central film and behind-the-scenes look at the making of these sweaters, the campaign will also be activated in-store, digitally and on social media with influencers, making this the largest global effort the CESAR brand has ever fielded and a true gift to owners and their canine companions.
