VML Named a Leader Among Lead Agencies by Independent Research Firm
VML has been named a Leader in "The Forrester Wave: Lead Agencies, Q4 2016" announced today. VML, a global marketing agency with 28 offices across six continents, was among select companies the research firm invited to participate in this evaluation. VML received the highest score among all vendors for the leadership strategy criterion. VML received the second-highest scores in the current offering and strategy categories and the second-highest score in the corporate culture criterion.
This independent report, written and published by Forrester Research Inc., identified eight agencies in the lead agency space and analysed their offerings. Forrester notes, "…Brands are pursuing nontraditional partners to serve as lead [agencies]. Agencies with 'digital' roots have jumped at this opportunity and are proving themselves most adept at leading client rosters in the post-digital age. Their heritage is their competitive edge: deep technical facility, collaborative and entrepreneurial can-do attitudes, and attractive cultures that look more like Google than 'Mad Men.'"
"Clients love VML's omnichannel-friendly creative, client service, and purposeful approach to collaboration," according to the report. "The agency's strong corporate vision focuses on changing the way brands use communications and technology to connect with consumers."
"I believe being named a 'Leader' in the Forrester Wave for Lead Agencies reaffirms VML's passion for staying relevant in the face of a rapidly changing environment," said Jon Cook, VML global CEO. "Clients are looking for partners that can transcend traditional agency models and lead transformation for their brands."
In 2016, VML achieved its best Cannes showing to date with 11 Lions and 25 shortlist recognitions across 12 categories and has been named lead agency for brands such as Electrolux, Frigidaire and Wendy's.
