UNIT Colourist Nick Dalby Delivers Polished Grade on New Laucan Promo
UNIT and Colourist Nick Dalby collaborated again with emerging directing talent James Heaphy, this time to deliver this stunning cinematic grade on the latest promo for Laucan and the new track ‘Wait for the Impact’.
On grading the promo Nick comments, “Working with James on this was a great experience as ever. With such a soulful and atmospheric track, it needed a dramatic cinematic film to go compliment it. I think we've achieved that with the dark and surreal look into the lives of three very different people while a meteor is heading to impact earth. For me it tells a great story of our diverse and exciting city we live in, London. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.”
Director James Heaphy adds “The idea behind the video was to explore the themes of prayer and ritual. Physical acts in which we can resolve inner conflict but also have ability to affect the world around us”.
