TubeMogul, the leading enterprise software company for digital branding, today announces that Mauricio Leon joins the UK-based team to head up commercial operations across Europe. Leon moves over from Publicis Groupe’s ZenithOptimedia, where he most recently led the commercial team for the performance marketing agency, Performics.
Leon brings 22 years worth of experience working in media, with a particularly strong background in developing TV and digital revenue opportunities for clients. Leon started his career in the TV advertising space at ITV, moving on to spend 13 years working in TV buying at agencies such as Mediacom, Starcom Mediavest Group, Leo Burnett and most recently at ZenithOptimedia before making the move to digital.
Leon’s remit will be to head up TubeMogul’s platform and agency sales teams across Europe and drive forward the company’s advancement into the programmatic TV space, whereby advertisers will soon be able to plan, buy and manage their TV advertising campaigns using programmatic software.
