LBB> The ad/music video from my childhood that stays with me…

Joy Division: “Atmosphere” (Directed by Anton Corbijn) (1988).

Atmosphere is the music video of one of my favourite Joy Division songs, which has been with me for many years and which I have never stopped loving.

LBB> The ad/music video/game/web platform that made me want to get into the industry…

Fugazi: “Instrument” (Directed by Jem Cohen) (1999)

This is a great documentary. “Instrument” was one of the first films that made me think about the importance of creative film editing.

LBB> The creative work that I keep revisiting…

“Arrebato” (Directed by Ivan Zulueta) (1979)

Regarded as an instant cult classic by the film community, “Arrebato” is a masterpiece of Spanish experimental cinema. I highly recommend every film buff give this a watch.

LBB> My first professional project…

Beach Beach: “White Clothes” (Directed by Alba Yruela & Rafa Castells) (2014)

I can't recall what my first “official” professional project was, but I do remember the importance of editing the music video for Beach Beach's “White Clothes,” directed by my two friends and talented artists, Alba Yruela and Rafa Castells.

In some way, that video marked my entry into the professional editing world. It helped me realise what is now one of my greatest passions.

LBB> The piece of work that still makes me jealous…

Joe Crepúsculo: “Suena Brillante” (Directed by Luís Cerveró) (2007)

I count this as my favourite music video of all time. It has always served as an inspiration for my work.

LBB> The creative project that changed my career…

This is the video that projected my career internationally, not only because of the video itself but also because of the friendship and working relationship I have had with STILLZ since then. I will always be eternally grateful to him for all the help and trust he showed me throughout the entire editing process and beyond.

LBB> The work that I’m proudest of…

Acne Studios for Arquitectura-G: “From Model To Marble” (Directed by Manson) (2020)

It's difficult to choose just one piece of work that I'm most proud of. I would probably go with 'From Model To Marble,’ as it was a project where I had complete creative and narrative freedom when it came to editing, and I had total trust from the director Manson.

This is the video where I perfected my editing style, heavily influenced by rhythm and fast cuts.

LBB> The recent project I was involved in that excited me the most…

E42 by Aitor Bigas (Progresso 2024)

Over the past few years, I've been working on my latest photo book; a deeply personal project that complements my passion for video editing. This journey has been one of exploration, creativity, and countless hours of dedication. I'm thrilled to announce that it has just been published through Progresso publishing house.
