Mules across the Andes, creators that make you shout ‘Go on, Lass!’, and top podcasts
Sarah Clift’s year has been properly loca. The director’s debut short film – La Madre Buena – dominated the award circuit. What’s more, its subject matter (it featured a Mexican mother in search of a Trump-shaped piñata) made it particularly topical and saw Sarah featured everywhere from BBC TV news to the New York Times. And now she’s just signed to Academy (and it’s A+) and we can’t wait to see what she does next.
What better time to get the well-travelled Sarah’s ‘Essential List’?
