The appointment of Creature comes at a time when the brand will be looking to take a more holistic approach to its marketing and communications

One of the UK’s largest furniture retailers, The Cotswold Company, has appointed Creature as it embarks on an ambitious next phase of growth.

The retailer, which has seen continual growth on the back of a well-positioned online presence, and now boasts an impressive six retail sites, has previously relied on DR TV to grow its customer base.

The appointment of Creature comes at a time when the brand will be looking to take a more holistic approach to its marketing and communications, and will partner strategically and creatively with the agency to begin to lay the foundations to build its brand equity to become a major contender in the competitive furniture retail space.

Creature will devise a communications platform and strategy as well as a creative campaign that will launch before the end of the year.

Dan Cullen-Shute, CEO and founder of Creature said: “Sometimes it all just clicks when you walk into a room, and that’s how it was for us with James and the team at Cotswold. A fast growing brand making waves (and beautiful things) in the retail sector, with an appetite and ambition to make work that’s as beautifully crafted as their dining tables. What’s not to love?”

James Birtwhistle, marketing director and co-founder of The Cotswold Company added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Creature in the next phase of the Cotswold Company’s brand journey. Creature believes in doing things differently whilst keeping the consumer at the heart of everything they do. We are looking forward to working together to further the reach and opportunities for the Cotswold Company.”
