McKinney campaign brings awareness to the brands unique orange crème flavour

While summer is coming to a close, the Sunshine-filled festivities are just getting started. Sunshine Punch, a ready-to-serve rum cocktail, has launched its new paid social and influencer campaign, ‘Thirst Trap,’ from creative, media and influencer marketing agency, McKinney. To align the sensorial flavour experience that Sunshine Punch offers, McKinney found influencers that embodied the ‘Thirst Trap’ appeal with bright, fun and edgy content. The 'Thirst Trap' crew consists of 10 influencers ranging from @callmechoko and his iconic dance moves to the coastal retro vibe of Florida surfer, songwriter @thatpineapplegirl.

McKinney was tasked with driving awareness for the brand and the unique flavour of orange crème - something most people either know and love, or have never experienced.

McKinney also collaborated with Sandstrom Partners who created Sunshine Punch’s original branding and website.

Sunshine Punch is rooted in friendship. Founders Brian Thomason and Matt Hemmings are lifelong friends who bonded over a shared interest in creative pursuits, adventures and a love of music. Inspired by sound and sun, the former classmates teamed up with a band of friends to develop a unique drink designed to be savoured wherever you find your sunshine. Today, Sunshine Punch is proudly blended and bottled in their home state of North Carolina and aims to bring you back to those same, sweet summer memories we all share.
