Spotlight on Women Creatives: Liz Hammond, Creative Director, Rare, Perth

Liz Hammond is creative director at Rare, Perth.

After graduating from Curtin with a BA(Design) and winning AWARD School in 2000, she began her career in Perth at the Brand Agency. As a junior, she was thrown in the deep end on clients such as RAC, Western Power, Water Corporation, Burswood and Bunnings.

Following this, Liz spent several years at Gatecrasher, Perth where she had the opportunity to hone her creative skills and received several local and national awards for her work on HBF, Curtin University and Office of Road Safety.

Liz then spent seven years in Canberra, where her position as senior art director at Grey exposed her to Federal Government accounts, as well as retail, commercial, and social marketing clients. Liz also enjoyed the chance to get involved with the strategic aspect of creative development.

Liz joined Rare in Perth as a senior art director in 2015 and was promoted to creative director in November 2017.
