Sean Lackey Rejoins Droga5 New York as Chief Marketing Officer

Droga5 today announced the hiring of Sean Lackey as chief marketing officer. The second tour of duty for Sean, he rejoins Droga5 from McCann where he held the position of chief growth officer for North America.

In his role as CMO, Sean will assume responsibility for driving agency growth strategies, from capabilities and offerings to business development and agency expansion, reporting to global CEO Sarah Thompson.

The multidisciplinary network experience he’s gained during his time at McCann along with his tenacity and energy for forging new relationships and identifying opportunities for the agency are invaluable skills. Sean initially joined Droga5 in 2013 and enjoyed more than four years with the agency as Director of Business Development and, most recently, Head of Business Development. Prior to Droga5, Sean worked in account management and business development at a number of agencies, including five years at BBDO. 

He fills a position left vacant when Chris Wollen departed the agency in December to join electric automotive company Rivian after six years with Droga5.
