French agency Rosapark released a new film today, which showcases their initiative to spread the warning about global warming.
Earlier this year, at the height of Paris's flooding, the agency, working with the Good Planet Foundation outfitted a statue on the Seine with a giant life preserver.
The Zouave statue, which stands affixed to the Pont de l'Alma, is used as a gage to measure the river's water levels. The operation served as a metaphor for the struggle against climate change, a leading cause in rising water levels and increased flooding, and served as an appeal to act urgently. To make sure the message was clear, the agency hung a banner reading "Get Ready For Global Warming".
The film shows how the operation, bearing the hashtag #ParisAgainstGlobalWarming, went global, catching the eyes and ears of politicians and decision-makers, amassing 300M PR impressions in just the first 5 days and making headlines around the world.
