R/GA Bolsters Team With New Hire and Promotion
R/GA is pleased to announce that Neda Whitney has been promoted to VP, managing director of client services and Fielding Jamieson has joined R/GA Ventures as strategy director for the Global Sports Ventures Studio.
Neda brings over 20 years of client leadership experience to the position. She will closely partner with senior clients to lead R/GA’s Verizon account, developing and advancing projects in collaboration with a team of more than 100 talented creatives, strategists, technologists and producers.
Formerly the director of business partnerships for LIFT Labs at Comcast NBCUniversal, Fielding will oversee partner relationships and facilitate partner engagement with emerging technologies sourced from the global startup ecosystem. She brings her expertise in launching and growing innovation groups within large organizations to GSVS’ roster of partners including adidas, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Eurosport, Fox Sports, Levy Restaurants, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, and UEFA.
In her tenure at R/GA, Neda’s led relationships and delivered award-winning work for globally recognisable brands, including Uber, Tiffany & Co, L’Oreal, and Planned Parenthood. She builds teams purposefully and approaches her work strategically and creatively to transform brands and yield measurable results.
Fielding is a fierce advocate for the advancement of female founders, diversity in the tech ecosystem and inclusive design. She is heavily involved in CityLax, a nonprofit dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in urban locations. She is also an advisor for two of her alma maters, Yale and Westminster Schools, based in Atlanta where she previously resided.
Prior to R/GA, Neda led client engagement at Spring Studios as group account director and at Huge as engagement director. Her work across verticals and disciplines for B2B and B2C brands, including Target, Gucci, and BlackRock Financial has given her a layered perspective on crafting impactful integrated brand solutions.
For the past two years, the Global Sports Venture Studio has helped the world’s sports leaders identify, develop, and operationalise new athlete and fan-focused innovations through pilots, investments, and the creation of new products and services.
