Radio LBB: Bone-chilling Tunes

"It’s getting darker and darker these days”. Someone at work just said that and it perfectly captures the essence of this playlist I put together. Days are getting shorter, nights longer; cold and rainy (at least for a good deal of us). Halloween is right around the corner with imagery of devils and ghosts and vampires.

And how to set these scenes, this time of the year, musically? By compiling a handful of tracks that hopefully give you, the listener, the sense of darkness looming. Of leaves, falling off trees, blowing in the cold wind and the ghosts of manufacturing past lingering in the shells of abandoned factories along the river. Or maybe that’s just my hometown of Detroit influencing me! Anyway, it’s not all doom and gloom to this story. There is light at the end of the tunnel and a bit of cheekiness along the way. Hope you all enjoy the journey!
