Pulse Films Strengthens Senior Team with Key Promotions

Pulse Films has today announced the dual promotions of Pulse Films personnel, Claire Wingate and Isabel Davis as the company continues its international growth and expansion.  This follows the recent hire of industry heavyweight Davud Karbassioun in the newly-created role of Global President, Commercials and Branded Entertainment. 

In recognition of her increasing contribution overseeing the company’s growing production slate, Wingate takes a newly-created role as Senior Vice President of Production and Operations for Pulse Films.

Wingate has moved to Los Angeles and will divide her time between Los Angeles, New York and London offices to support both the significant international growth opportunities for Pulse and also its partnership with Vice. She will focus on expanding the US infrastructure of the company as well as overseeing production and operations across its film, gaming, branded entertainment and television output.

At Pulse, Wingate has overseen projects for major UK broadcasters including: topical BBC documentaries “United States of Hate: Muslims under Attack”, “Last Days of Legal Highs” and “Hunting the Nazi Gold Train”. She was also Head of Production on gaming projects “Guitar Hero Live” and “Need for Speed”.  

Based in the UK office, Davis steps up to become Head of Production for Unscripted and Branded working to Wingate on all unscripted TV, gaming and branded entertainment content. She was previously Production Executive on “Guitar Hero Live” and also involved in several other key projects across the Branded Content and the Unscripted Television departments.

Davis joined Pulse in 2013 from The Garden Productions where she worked on BAFTA nominated documentaries and flagship BBC series such as “Keeping Britain Alive” and “24 Hours in A&E”. She also worked for Jamie Oliver’s company Fresh One Productions where she was involved in many of his shows, including the Emmy Award-winning “Food Revolution series” and respected BBC documentary strand “Storyville".
