Propac Hires Creative Directors Mike Krankota and Kelly Welch

Creative-solutions agency Propac has hired a pair of seasoned creative directors, Mike Krankota and Kelly Welch, Colby Graff announced today. The two will begin their jobs on March 20 and work on the shop’s Frito-Lay and PepsiCo brands along with new business.


Krankota is an award-winning CD with an extensive background in branding, advertising and digital design in Dallas-area boutique studios. An illustrator, art director and creative strategist who can bring a project from concept to production, he has served as Creative Director for Eisenberg & Associates, Canonball and Propel Group.He led the way with stunning, effective creative for a wide range of clients including CBRE, the Dallas Mavericks, Neiman Marcus and Samsung.

“Mike is that rare senior-level creative with the ability to manage others who will also roll up his sleeves and produce amazing work,” said Charles Daigle, Propac’s CEO. “He is constantly on the lookout for cleaner and more expressive creative, and this pursuit drives him to push his team to reach greater heights.”


 

Welch has more than 16 years of industry experience, ranging from brand design to traditional advertising to shopper marketing. She has worked with numerous clients, including Fossil, Dannon, Dr. Pepper, Cargil, TXU Energy, Pizza Hut, Visit Dallas and T-Mobile.She comes to Propac after nearly 10 years at Tracy Locke.

She believes in a collaborative environment where everyone feels empowered to share their ideas in order to find creative solutions to problems. Kelly is excited to return to the world of engaging consumers in retail as well as pushing innovation in shopper marketing.

“Kelly is a talented creative director whose priority is to make sure that strategy and insights come together to inspire big ideas that come to life in the creative,” Daigle added.
