The agency will work closely with the League to bring more visibility to its community support both locally and globally
The Premier League, renowned for its competitive and compelling football featuring some of the best players and managers in the world, has appointed FCB Inferno as its new creative agency.

The League’s fast and intensive style of play makes it hugely popular around the globe and the 2018/19 season was one of the most exciting campaigns in the history of English football, with a record number of goals scored and a closely-fought title race going down to the final day.

As well as exciting action on the pitch, the Premier League and its clubs deliver a huge amount of direct support to communities both locally and globally. FCB Inferno’s appointment will see them work closely with the League to bring more visibility to these programmes. They range from the primary school-focused education offering Premier League Primary Stars, to football-based initiatives such as Premier League Kicks, which engages tens of thousands of young people in areas of high need.

FCB Inferno will help to highlight the impact the Premier League has within communities, particularly in the UK, and to make the positive work they conduct more visible.

Will Brass, the Premier League’s head of sales and marketing said: “We’re entering an exciting phase of our development, as we continue to build on the clean brand positioning that was created in 2016. As one of the most popular sports competitions in the world we are aware of the influence and responsibilities we have and are determined to continue to use that influence as a force for good.

“FCB Inferno offer both brave thinking and an innate understanding of our unique positioning, and we are excited to see how we can work together to amplify the positive contribution that the Premier League makes.”

FCB Inferno CEO, Frazer Gibney, said: “The Premier League is one of the best-known brands in the world which conducts an incredible amount of work beyond what people see on the pitch. They have both an exceptional heritage and an exciting vision and we are beyond thrilled to be embarking on this journey with them.”
